One blustery, fall day in November, a baby girl was born into a prominent French family living in Paris. The parents, Madeleine & François Jolie, were overjoyed at the new addition to their family. They named her Vivienne Esmé, which means "alive & loved". The mother, Madeleine, was a pure-blood witch, while the father, François, was a muggle. Vivienne grew as a normal, French girl, and her parents would never have guessed she was a witch. So naturally, they were very surprised when Vivienne received an invitation to attend school at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Once the shock wore off, the Jolie's were thrilled that their daughter would go to the school. Now, Vivienne is a first year in the house of Grodeffroy.

Tall, slender, and pretty, Vivienne stands at about 5'4". Her straight golden-blonde hair falls slightly past the bottom of her shoulder blades. She has piercing cobalt-blue, almond-shaped eyes framed with thick, dark lashes. Vivienne's face is heart-shaped, and she has a beige complexion with rosy cheeks.

Vivienne is an ambitious and intelligent girl who is lots fun to be around. She makes friends easily, and is often described as a social butterfly -- always trying to make new friends. But she has a temper, so you won't want to miss with her or her close friends. Vivienne is very competitive and strives to be the best at everything.
